Why you SHOULDN’T have a date on Valentine’s Day.

Valentine’s Day is one of those events that leads people to lose their freaking minds.

If you are single, it can cause you to rip yourself to shreds.

It’s the fakebook comparison game.

Where you compare yourself to your “HAPPY” friends.  Your “IN LOVE” friends.

All the people you see on fakebook proudly taking selfies of their once in a lifetime relationship.

When you see that it’s easy to compare someone else’s fakebook highlight reel of their life to your REAL life and feel like s*&t.

You start thinking about all the plans you had for your life and why they didn’t work out.

You focus on what you don’t have.  What you wished your life was like.

You obsess over WHY your life isn’t the way you want it.

Many events lead to feeling this way.

–family reunions

–lunch with your parents

–a coworker getting engaged

–your friends baby shower

–a night alone binge-watching Netflix

For some people these events TRIGGER them to DO something different.

They get an “I’m not going to take this anymore” resolve and find a way to make it happen.

These women often become our clients.

They focus on the DOING.

Most people don’t do that.  When they realize they want to change something in their life they focus on the WANTING.

They focus on the LACK.  On WHY they’re stuck where they are.  On what they want but never seem to have.

At times you need to focus on the wanting.

But you don’t want to live there.  You don’t want to be in that space very long.

We teach our clients how to turn that wanting into DOING.

On Valentine’s day it doesn’t matter if you have a date or not.  In fact, it’s better not to have a date if the only reason for a date is to quiet the wanting.

Don’t obsess over the wanting, instead develop a pig-headed focus on the DOING.

If you don’t know what to do, we’ve got that covered.

We can show you WHAT to do so you have certainty you’re taking the right steps.

It’s not easy, but it is simple.

You will have to face your internal barriers along the way, but we’ll help you slay those dragons one fight at a time.
