Is Working from Home Ruining Your Love Life?

Is working from home ruining your love life?

It definitely could be…..

Does this sound like you?

Roll out of bed.  Throw on yoga pants.  Instantly make and drink GIANT cup of java.

Dream about going back to sleep…..WAIT just kidding.

Turn on your laptop. Get cracking. No hair brushing. Usually, no teeth brushing. No makeup.

Honestly, this is our daily routine and it feels pretty awesome.

No muss, no fuss. We can just wake up and grind.

Unfortunately, working from home makes finding love and attracting the one pretty challenging.

We make an effort several days a week to get dressed up for each other. Sometimes it doesn’t happen until 5pm, but we do it.

There are days where it’s tempting to skip showers, never leave the house, and totally throw hygiene out the window.  It is definitely OK to have those days as long as you intersperse them with making love a priority.

The truth of the matter is that your knight in shining armor will absolutely never just come riding through your living room on a gracious white horse.

So it is time to get your butt in gear.

Don’t worry, we have it all figured out for you.

Here are some ways you can meet Mr. Right while still working from home.

Work out at a gym

You are probably already doing this. The difference is that you need to be ready to meet a relationship ready man while you are there. You need to bring your best, sexy self to that work out. Please do not make the mistake of wearing your board shorts and T.G.I. Friday’s t-shirt. If you are working out, you are likely in shape!

Show off that bod that you work so hard for. Invest in one or two cute workout outfits. Tight fitted pants are always a solid choice. You can always rely on a great pair of black workout leggings. They smooth out all the bitty parts.

Get a cute fitted top. If you don’t want to be totally revealing, a fitted lightweight tee will do. If you are roaring and ready to rock it, get a fitted tank and show off those guns.

Try to pick feminine colors that will catch a man’s interest. Some ideas are red, pink, and teal. Men are NOT attracted to patterns. No paisleys, flowers, or crazy stripes please.

Consider working in an alternate location one or two days a week

If that feels like too much, you can just get out for a couple of hours each week.  We don’t want to hear anyone say “I need wifi” because literally EVERY single place has wifi now. No excuses.

The location that you pick is critical. You are not going to find the man of your dreams at McDonald’s.  Head out to a bustling location that you know men frequent. An example is a coffee shop in the middle of a series of businesses. If you are in a smaller town, go to the most frequented place there. You may have to test out a couple of locations before you actually hit the jackpot. If you don’t see the types of men you are looking for after a couple of visits, move on to a new spot.

When you head out to this new spot to work (even if it is just once a week for 3 hours) put on a feminine and flirty outfit. Make it the one time (or two times) each week where you shower, brush your teeth, do your hair, and put on makeup. ALL before 9am!

You also need to be in the right mindset. Have open body language. Make eye contact with potentials. Give green signals that you are approachable.

As a final thought, put it on your calendar. Don’t skip it or you really aren’t making love a priority. We know you don’t want to do that because then you will likely become the cat lady. Yikes.
